Pilates
Weak core? Bad posture? Lower back injury? As a pilates instructor I see the great benefits of incorporating pilates movements into sessions. Core and pelvic stability are what forms the basis of most exercises. Dealing with clients with injuries I consistently see weaknesses in these areas. Pilates are a great way to work on neglected stability muscles as a prehabilitation tool to minimise injuries whatever your goals may be.

Nutrition
As a Nutrition Coach I understand the concepts of nutrition and how they play a role in body composition and maximising your gym sessions. Nutrition can be quite confusing, so we simplify the whole process and approach every client in a way which best suits their lifestyle. We then set plans for them to follow based on their health and fitness goals.

NDIS Registered Provider
As a NDIS registered Provider we work with NDIS participants to help them achieve their goals. These include developing proprioception, coordination and balance skills, Flexibility, strength and exercising for overall health, including mental health. We do our best to make exercise as fun as possible with our clients, while never losing focus on our main goals.
Program Prescription
Elevate Health and Fitness prescribe tailored gym programs by an experienced ASCA Strength and Conditioning Coach for all our 1:1 clients which are based solely around their health and fitness goals. These programs are all electronic and easily accessible anywhere. Programs are designed on what YOUR health and fitness goals are.

Rehabilitation
As a rehabilitation trainer I assess movements and prescribe exercises to manage and reduce pain associated injuries. I work in collaboration with local physiotherapists to discuss plans for my injured clients moving forward with training. In Brisbane I previously worked with Rohan Davies (head physio) from Northside Sports Medicine in Mitchelton and Russell Tolland (head physio) from BPM Physio Mitchelton.

Pre and post natal training
To ensure the health and safety of your unborn child it is important to train safely and under guidance in the gym. The same applies post pregnancy to minimise injury. At Elevate Health and Fitness we have trained numerous pre natal clients through to the birth of healthy young babies. Some of the many benefits of training pre natally include; a shorter labor, increasing core strength, managing associated pregnancy pain and to assist with dropping post pregnancy weight faster. To ensure your exercising safely we provide exercise plans to each of our pre and post natal clients.
